Ukrainian cuisine is simple and abundant. Many dishes are dough based.
- Vareniki : a kind of ravioli filled with cheese or fruits. Served with sour cream.
- Borsch : based beet borsch different from Russian, Ukraine is added at the end of a spoon cooking bacon and crushed clove of garlic.
- Pampushki : small fresh bread that accompanies the borsch.
- Galushki : kind of gnocchi served with fresh cream.
- Salo : smoked bacon, sliced, sprinkled with garlic, kind of zakuski. A dish must.
- Farshirovannie pertsi : stuffed peppers, stuffing is based on a mixture of minced meat and rice.
- Farshirovannie sinenkie : aubergines stuffed with stuffing vegetables (carrot, onion, cabbage).
- Glazunia s salom : scrambled eggs with bacon.
- Golubtsi : stuffed cabbage. Served in cream sauce.
- Kompoti : fruit syrup.
- Marinovannie ovoschi i frukti : pear / watermelon / mushrooms / pickled in sweet-sour juice.
